Every child learns differently. Sometimes, the greatest growth happens when a student feels truly understood, appropriately challenged, and encouraged to explore what genuinely interests them.

One family shared how personalized support and belief in their child helped transform her relationship with learning, particularly reading and writing.

“As a family, we feel incredibly grateful to have had Donna on our child’s teaching team. Donna was a dedicated partner in helping optimize the fit of our child’s schooling to her unique educational needs. She really met our child where she was, deeply saw her potential, and our child blossomed with Donna’s belief in her.Our child’s ELA skills blossomed while learning with Donna. She changed from a reluctant writer to a student who chose a fiction-writing passion project and an extracurricular creative writing class.Donna encourages and supports children who are ready to learn above their grade or age level.”

At Penny Tree Education, we believe learning should respond to the individual child—their strengths, interests, readiness, and potential. When children are given the space and support to grow in ways that are meaningful to them, learning can become something they genuinely want to pursue.
